St. John's United Methodist Church is located in downtown Rock Hill at 321 S. Oakland
Avenue between S Oakland Avenue, White Street, and Elizabeth Lane. We are one block
from Main Street.
From North (I77 South-bound):
Take the Dave Lyle Blvd. exit and turn right onto Dave Lyle. Continue down Dave Lyle
past Manchester Village and keep going for several miles. You will pass under a
bridge. Turn left at the next light onto
White Street (you should see the blue UMC directional sign and a car dealership on the left). Continue to the next
light and you will see the church to the right.
From South (I77 North-bound):
Take the Dave Lyle Blvd. exit and turn left onto Dave Lyle. Continue down Dave Lyle
past Manchester Village and keep going for several miles. You will pass under a
bridge. Turn left at the next light onto
White Street (you should see the blue UMC directional sign and a car dealership on the left). Continue to the next
light and you will see the church to the right.
From Cherry Road:
Turn at Winthrop University onto Oakland. Continue down Oakland until
you cross over a bridge then you will see us on the left at the next light.
From Highway 5:
Take Highway 5 across Cherry Road and continue as it becomes Main Street. Stay in the
left lane. Once you cross the railroad tracks continue through downtown and turn at
the next light (where you see First Baptist and Bank of America). We will be on the
right.
